about

This is a collection of Mash-Ups I released several years ago. Myspace was going STRONG (That should tell you how old these are). I hope you dig 'em.

Fat City Records said:
"Engage your sense of humour before listening to this record -
possibly the most irreverent mash up to pass through our doors. The
chipper country pop of Cheryl Crow's winding road gets gleefully
strapped to a crunk vocal - winner! Flip for Beyonce's 'Deja Vu' riding a
loop of "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz."

"Crazed little seven of mashed-up bits and pieces from all over the shop – featuring plenty of phat beats amidst the madness, the 80s motifs and, err, Sheryl Crow. It's a case of throw everything in the kitchen sink and see what sticks – but that's the essence of mash-ups you could say."

"The puppets move up to a twelve and stitch together a host of beats n' pieces. Almost insanely fragmented, this is music for those with a retention span shorter than Homer Simpson. A patchwork quilt of a record – check it if your dance floor moves in fifty directions at once."

Picadilly Records said:
"Second release from Itchie Finger Puppets (their
debut was the infamous Beyonce / Nu Shooz blend 45) sees them fill
their boots (literally) with six (count 'em!) inspired / silly (delete
as applicable) blends incorporating the Ying Yang Twins "Shake It
Out", Ugly Duckling, Depeche Mode, Amerie, John Arnold, E40, Yazoo, Beastie Boys, OutKast, DJ Shadow and Purple Ribbon Allstars."

Phonica Records said:
"Will set any self-respecting dance floor alight! ... Crazy pairings. Insane!"

jetsetrecords.net Said:
"It turns the brain low... rise world!!"

Victor Menegaux Said:
"Awesome! Your productions are ill - really really sick! You're a very talented puppet master, and most definitely a music head judging by your selected eclectic soundtracks. Production-wise, I think you're doing great...very creative and well executed editing. I will be droppin' your E40/Yaz fo-sho! Your originality is wonderful."

RockTheDub.com on "Paper Planes (Notorious M.I.A. Mix)":
"This shit cracked me up, once I heard him drop the "damn, why she wanna stick me for my paper" in the hook, as well as the lil' touches, like her speaking about hitting her on her hip, and the beeping and ringing of a phone going on. Really well plotted out."
